    Hello Paul,
You obviously had great photo opportunities almost every second of this tour. You could have snapped endlessly. They are all very pretty and have a cosy and intimate atmosphere. But why only four extra photos? ;-)

    Hello Nicolas,
A beautiful and smart composition, almost abstract. The green algae are not so nice in reality, but for this photo they provide a perfect contrast to the red and white reflected details of the boat.

    Hello Ryszard,
I am surprised and a bit disappointed that I missed this street and this amazing sculpture. It's really an unusual piece, but painters already created similar shapes long before 1957. It's an interesting photo also giving us a good view of the surrounding area.

    Hello Craig,
I don't think you could ever convince me to go to Las Vegas, but I admit you have collected a number of fine photos there. The WS with a wider view of this installation, sculpture or whatever it should be called, explains what almost looks like an abstract composition in this view. The "Up" WS is even more abstract because there is no glimpse of the building next to it. So maybe I would actually prefer that shot. But what does it matter? They're all free anyway.
    Best regards,
    Gert

    Hello Ike,
This is an extraordinary kind of graffiti, even though it's actually a poster glued to the wall. I see a number of "super hero" cartoon figures very cleverly blended together in a most interesting way. I wondered what ASVP stands for, and I found this:

"Started in 2009, ASVP is a Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between
Simon Grendene and Victor Anselmi that has become internationally known for
creating graphic images with nods to advertising, pop and comic book culture
often including layers of organic abstraction."

Quite famous, it seems. Thank you for showing this amazing little work of art.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hello Costantino,
The photo is perfectly exposed, the trees frame the view of the church well and the large and small flags brighten the foreground. The church is nicely designed and the red window frames catch my attention.

    Hello John,
This looks like a rush hour across the bridge. A cyclist is competing for space with a horse carriage and a few pedestrians. The ladies in the horse carriage seem to enjoy their tour, or maybe the driver told them a joke. The light and colours are very nice and the clouds are impressive.

    Hello Zbigniew,
It's a well composed and perfectly exposed photo where the three cable cars are superb eye-catchers. They make a stunning contrast to the flat city below and the hazy view into the distance. Are you sure they have the genuine stone? :-)

    Hello Bev,
You should have made some noise to make the horse turn its head to look at you! It is still a very nice photo even though we see the beautiful animal from behind. The many yellow flowers adorn the foreground, and in the background we get a narrow but very attractive view of water and meadows on the hill-slope. The colours and light are very nice, and that goes for the WS too. Will you show us the donkeys next time? I like them too.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hello Jorge,
This is a pleasant composition showing many beautiful buildings and lots of people strolling across the square. The man in the orange shirt in the foreground adds some brightness, but what an idiot he is! He goes out with such a nice girl and he just keeps watching his f***ing mobile phone. I am again a bit disappointed with you, that you didn't spend half a minute on making the photo just a little clearer and brighter. It's so easy. ;-)

It's an ordinary moment in an ordinary street in the tropics, but that's what makes it so nice. Views like this appeal much more to me than photos of cathedrals and palaces and teach me more about the world.

    Hello Rob,
This is fantastic, really more exciting than any architecture or painting. It's not just the excitement of being so close to such a large wild animal, but you were lucky to have such a combination of physical strength, movement, dust, light and shadows. This is a natural work of art composing itself and you managed to capture it in a perfect photo. Both WS are beautiful to watch, although less exciting. Just for once I was sorry for not being on Facebook. ;-)
    Have a nice weekend,
    Gert

    Hello Malgo,
This photo makes me a little bit proud of myself. ;-) My immediate reaction when I saw the reflections was "Wow, that looks like Matisse"! Maybe obvious, but I was still nicely surprised to read the note. Nice buildings too.
So you will finally go to Indonesia. I know a place or two you should avoid... ;-) But is this the "three new countries" journey, and in that case which will be the other countries? There is a choice of four: Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and East Timor. Combining Indonesia with Philippines would be too crazy.
Did you consider the climate factor?
    Best regards,
    Gert

    Hej Lars,
    Trevlig helg,
    Gert

    Hello Ryszard,
The WS are both very good photos with eye-catching bright elements, but this is perhaps the most appealing composition. The boat and the trees and the view of a part of the modern city make it a generally attractive photo.

    Hello Murat,
The pipeline in the WS is no doubt a bit annoying, but I guess they can't adapt every kind of infrastructure to the needs of tourists with cameras. On the other hand the view generally is overwhelmingly beautiful in the WS, whereas in this photo we mainly see a lot of trees and an ordinary marina. But we do get some nice reflections too.

    Hello Carlo,
You had a good idea for a simple but elegant composition. It reminds me of a similar photo I took in Greece. Simplicity is often the best solution for a composition. I guess the white thing here is a parasol, although it looks a little bit like a sand dune.
