Colouration

The red /orange colouration is caused by the high pressure sodium street lighting behind me and the long exposure. I like the hue the is cast throughtout the shot.

Hi Adraina,
ok, the composiotn of your shot is fine and the idea was ok, but there are a few thingsd that could have improved the shot.
reduce the light balance would have cut down on the harshness...

i do agree with you the exposure time was too long, i should have gone for about 15-20 sec and not the 30 i opted for.

i would have thought your coolpix would have come with some editing software, but if not microsoft office picture manager has some fairly good functions within it.

using some basic photographic software, you should have the ability to make these adjustments.
all of the settings will normally set on 0 making adjustment both up and down the scale....
