Re: TE spirit!

I remember that photo. A little nude girl. Is that pedophilia? Maybe pedophilia is in the eyes of the beholder. I didn't get any sexual feelings by that picture. But then again, I am not a pedophile.

Re: Country? Needs adjustments?

I think it is disrespectful to talk like that about Tibet. Tibet is as independent as every former Yugoslav republic. The country is illegally occupied by China. Tibet is not China. Pity the world...

Re: To Edgar_Delacroix: whatever drug ...

I know Paul Verhoeven, I know Jan de Bont and I know the five pictures Robbienight has posted on TE. And those five pictures are not art. I am sorry but I think you give him far too much credit. But...

To woozbman: Jealousy?

Please explain why anyone would be jealous. Robbienight uses a very easy technique to get lots of points. Anyone can do it. There is nothing to it. And certainly nothing to be jealous about. The only...

Re: airport funnies

The last day of our stay in Aqaba, Jordan, we bought some souvenirs. One of them a small heavy phallus stone. All these souvenirs were put in my backpack. At the Amman airport the x-ray machine...

Re: I don't want to see her

I just saw her for the first time. I use Camino on a Mac. I never see popups or annoying ads. Until now I had no idea that TE has these ads. Simply don't use Internet Explorer, but if you are on...

Re: My dear Willem

Cher Pierre Lacombe, Am I bothering you and your circle of pointexchanging friends? To be honest I don't care.
And about the TE guidelines: I suggest you read them too. Especially point 14.i.5. ...

Re: To axiotea: commentaire

Actually these are the sentences you copypaste in each critique:

-The photo is clear and precise.
-It is receiving a good luminosity which brings out the colors.
-The subject is well framed....

Re: To axiotea: commentaire

Pierre, you have four or five sentences, and you copypaste them in random order in each critique. It is easy to see for anyone.

Re: To axiotea: commentaire

Cher Pierre,

Since you are copypasting the same meaningless critiques over and over again, I wouldn't be surprised if you got suspended again in the near future.
Well, all because the good ol'...

Re: Excessive "thank you" replies?? What does this mean??

A thank you forum? And what would be the benefit of that. Besides, the way a lot of people write their critiques, those critiques are already a means of saying thank you.
Just mention in your intro...

Re: Deleting comments??

Asking to delete because a comment is too tough? I think people shouldn't be so easily offended. It is just the opinion of someone. If you are that sensitive you should stay away from big communities...

Re: To wjgmspeedy: not so beautiful part of the country

Well, for me the ride from Aqaba to Madaba was quite dull. Big sandy planes with not much to see. I liked the Kings Highway a lot more.

Re: Anyone using iPhoto '08 and Lightroom simultaneoulsy?

As far as I know, iPhoto uses Spotlight-technology for it's metadata. Lightroom doesn't.
But I'm sure iPhoto won't keep track of your images when you don't use the iPhoto-interface to manage the...

Re: Crazy Droits d'auteur - Copyright

Yes, architects can do that. The same is true for Rotterdam's Erasmusbridge. If photographers want to use a picture of that bridge commercially, they have to pay. Bottomline is that buildings have...

Re: Adding Borders to Photos

Obviously I am not very good in mathematics. Of course when you image is 800x600, your document shouldn't have the same proportions, in my example it should be 1000x800.

Re: Adding Borders to Photos

Hi Jordan, It is not that difficult. For example, your image is 800x600. You make a new document 1000x750. You fill this new document with a color you like. Then you ad a transparant layer, and...

Re: Apple mac, which one?

Hi Herve, I'm on a Mac and the most important thing is RAM. Buy as much as you can. Apple tends to put not enough RAM in their machines, but with a 1GB strip extra that would probably be sufficient....

Didn't notice that stripe earlier, but it is clearly visible. It also explains why the colors seems a bit strange. The sky didn't get any pp, while the rest of the image did. I think this image would...

Re: Who is the silent majority?

If you don't care, why do you even bother? And why are you in the forum? After all the forum is not for the silent majority.
By the way, my last reply here, because to be frankly, I don't care what...

Re: Who is the silent majority?

Thank you, but no thank you. I already visited a lot of those people and read their critiques. And I disagree about them acting within the tos. And probably some of us have a point, because I noticed...
