Thank you Bev! I'll have a look.

Best wishes

Bad news about Abisko. ;-)

Have a nice Wednesday....

To Royaldevon: Questions

Thank you for your very kind comments Bev! I don't think your questions are basic, they actually made me think, so I scribbled the answers below:

What do you do if you are taken ill?

You cannot...

Football

You are right, last time I watched the World Cup was in 1986... I did love it then but it didn't last as a hobby. ;-)
If I did care I would probably care less about England. But generally, as you...

Safer alternative

I'm looking for somewhere without tourists that is not my garden or Croydon (the dismal part of London where I work...). ;-)

Djenne

I've just looked at the FCO website and Djenne is now in the red (on the outskirts but still). I'm sure when I checked a few months ago it was in the "orange" territory ("only go there if you really...

Normal Lewis

I should read those posts second time before I hit the "upload" button. This is one of at least two typos!
Anyway, Norman Lewis travelled to Vietnam in the 50s so a few decades earlier than you. And...

To holmertz: Exposure time

Thank you Gert - for your comments and the tip-off. I've corrected that sentence now. :-)
Exposure time: 30 minutes. It really gets boring at time...
Have a nice weekend too

Quality of the photo

There are no adjustments visible in the photo. So you're obviously very good at digital post production. And above all, the original image was good enough, otherwise it wouldn't look this good even...

Thank you for your kind comments Craig! :-)
The composition - I didn't have much choice as the bottom half of the bus was obscured by the next vehicle behind it.
Greetings from Minsk

Then something you...
