Default Re: Why?

why THAT particular photo (the one without a yellow macaca)? simple - because it illustrated (in my mind) the story I wanted to tell. i had never seen a steam-boat on connecticut river and found it amusing and interesting that one can transport himself around burning wood-scraps. i fully realised there was no artistry in my photo and, to be honest, didn't like the visuals of it too much myself, but, hey, it did serve my need to tell the story. as to how to tell it better: i was hoping for some tips from the wise ones like yourself. as to WHY other photos? usually, i have some reason; different for every fotka though.

unbearable lightness of being? that's a good concept. i liked the movie too.

cheers,
k.

Default To EVERSMILE (Marine)

My reference to your photo Marine was only that it was a 'common object' and if we (members) allow such common objects to be posted on TrekEarth then where will it stop? Other members will take it as a precedent to post other common objects such as toilet bowl brushes etc. I was not comparing your photo to a toilet bowl brush or sh*t.

Public appologies- if you perceived it as so...

Kind Regards,
- Dan
