Great macondo 2008-03-19 5:44

Thank you for this interesting photo and note, Hemant. Now I know at least part of the meaning of the Indian restaurant that I have often been to here in Melbourne, which is called 'Dhala da Dhaba'. By the way, there is another one nearby called the 'Hemant'.
Your photo is well taken to show the simple nature of the structure, and the atmosphere of dereliction that has taken hold here. Nice bit of framing is achieved by the branches of trees.
Thanks again.
Regards,
Andrew

Default To macondo: thanks

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your time and valuable feedback. I really appreciate it a lot. Dhaba is so much in our travelling culture. It has a open or semi closed kitchen and open eating area along the higway in the open...though many people have now started making closed covered eating areas to help protect aganst bad weather.
By the way 'Hemant' means 'Spring' in Hindi.
take care.
Regards,

Hemant
