Default Im sure most have already seen but. Canon 1-d MKII

http://www.dpreview.com/articles/canoneos1dmkii/

it has been getting slammed on allot of message boards by people that have not even laid a hand on it. but it seems an improvemnet in general over its older brother the 1 d. Would really like to see how it handles noise at higher ISO settings. FF would have been a real big plus as well.

I must admit I can't understand the negative reaction it's been getting, it's technically a very impressive camera on paper at least.

Any discussion about its actual performance is premature until it actually in a release configuration, but 8.5FPS (for 40 frames) and 8MP with a 1.3x FOV crop is definitely impressive!

I've been around dpreview forum a couple of times, oh my dear. It would be so nice if we can avoid that kind of equipmentfixated lens-lenght comparing here, so please don't start slamming!
