Default Opinions on Integrating Workshop Photos...

I'm planning on integrating workshop images into the critique area. A workshop photo would be called a 'Visual Critique' and would be displayed as a thumbnail where written critiques are displayed at the bottom of an individual photo.

Eventually it will also be able to respond to critiques directly, so there will be sort of a running commentary on the particular photo.

Any opinions on this? Good, bad, indifferent?

In general it would be a good idea to keep everything together, but I see one drawback. You could get into the situation where you have discussions around a workshop photo rather than the original. This is not a 'problem' per se, but the intention should be that the original artist gets the feedback on their original work, not a derivative of it.

Right, that makes sense. For the time being I'm going to work on an 'Add Photo to Favorites' feature.
