I hope you will read this message as fast as you deleted my shot: I have a service to ask you; as you can guess it in reading this message, i have a really poor English and i spent a lot of time with my dictionary to translate the note of my post in English. I have already spent a lot of time to make this elaborate frame just to make it funier again but it seems you don't really like to laugh anyway:-(...so please, could you send me back my translation. It will help me to post my shot again without elaborate frame.

J'ai une faveur à vous demander; comme vous avez pu le constater en lisant la version Anglaise si vous êtes Anglophone, j'éprouve de grandes difficultés à m'exprimer en Anglais et j'ai perdu beaucoup de temps à traduire la note qui accompagnait la photo que vous venez de suprimer. J'ai d'ailleurs perdu tout autant de temps à encadrer cette photo avec le cadre élaboré qui vous déplait tant mais qui n'avait pour vocation que d'accentuer la conotation humoristique de ma photo mais il semblerait que vous n'ètes pas la pour rigoler:-(...Aussi pourriez vous me retourner la version Anglaise de ma note afin de pouvoir poster à nouveau ma photo sans cadre élaboré, c'est promis!

Merci pour ton offre. Ceci dit, je voulait interpeller à travers mon message, l'attention sur le fait que lorsqu'une photo ne plait pas, on la suprime d'abbord et on peut discuter ensuite sauf qu'il n'y a plus matière a discuter vu que la photo et la note on disparu. Je pense qu'il serait intelligent d'envoyer un mail d'avertissement avant de suprimer une photo ou de joindre le fichier texte lors du mail d'annonce de la supression.
Je crois que je vai quand même la publier avec la version que j'aime bien en WS.pfff, on peut même plus s'amuser!

Bonjour !
Je viens d'avoir le même souci sur une photo, seulement c'est un cadre assez simple, et que j'ai utilisé pour plusieurs photos ( il s'agit d'un cadre de photofiltre disponible par le chemin suivant : filtre > encadrement > bouton 3D large > relief double ). Une seule photo a été retirée... Je ne comprends pas ! Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'expliquer ?

From what I can understand of the French translation Orianne, your image was removed because the frame was against the TrekEarth TOS. Frames must be simple and straight edged- not elaborate.

I think TE would be a better place if the moderators was known to all and also by giving more information of their work, like reasons for photo deletion, than what they do today.
It seems that the amount of postings at TE presently is so huge that the work of the moderators become randomly - meaning that they do not scan all posted photos but remove posts they "happen to see".

It's a bit pathetic that any ordinaire member should "guess" reasons for what a moderator did in specific cases. If the TE site is "self regulated" then the present owners should better drop the TOS and the ransom cencorship that excists - or simply merge TE and TL.

Alternative - see to that the cencors/moderators organize themself to cover all posts at TE in a way where their activities do not leave the impression of randomly or casual work.

I couldn't agree more with you Jack, the TOS rules are applied at random and that is frustrating.
