Great ikeharel 2016-10-14 1:14

Hello Craig,
With your description about the weather, I wonder why used a tripod - the wind could blow your tripod for miles... In such cases I set a high speed shutter ( like 1/800 or even 1/1000) and hope for the best.
Anyway, the colors which you written as "dull", looking fairly adequate with the light condition, but in any case - that's how it looks in this weather.
I like the pic. as it came out, very challenging photojob.
Bravo,
Ike

Default To ikeharel: Why the tripod?

A good quality tripod, well weighted for stability, can stand up to surprisingly high winds. High shutter speeds won't necessarily capture the image as the photographer wants it.
