Great gringofil 2005-10-27 12:05

Not a bad shot, this one, Peter. I like the angle and the monk in the doorway is a very important part of this shot (gives us a second point of interest as well as giving us a sense of scale). I also like the woods directly behind the temple. Good work, Peter!

BTW: Did you take any pictures of the monks? Monks are always good subjects...make friends with them (I bet they want to practice their English) and shoot away!

Yes i spoke to the monk but he was pretty shy and didint like having his photo taken but liked practicing his English. Im going back to have another go so will post some soon.

Give them some time. Go back as often as possible and, when the time is right, take some pictures...shots like this will be the best when the subject will become more comforatble with you. Try it.
