I live in Vancouver. Lens & Shutter probably has the biggest selection, carrying all major manufacturers, and a lot of gear in stock. The main store is on Braodway, and they have another location downtown in the Pacific Centre Mall. Good luck!

Default What's Vancouver?

I was just thinking:

Is this really something to adress in the general forum?

Sometimes I wonder: Is this forum more for getting attention?

Did you ever hear of Internet?

Jack
I can't say you are wrong ... coz you are right in your own sarcastic way.
btw ... sometimes it is hard to know the reliable outlet because of the thousands of hits we get on the internet ... so some humans tend to get some human input from the forums ... I see nothing wrong with it ... for people who have problems with it can stick to just the Tips-Technique part of the Forums
Internet? ... aha ... and I was under the impression was TE was part of the internet too

The reason for asking this is to get a friendly reply like Alvin did with right and precise information.

I'm no sure to get your point. Nothing to get upset about, really not.

To answer you:
- Is this really something to adress in the general forum
=>This question is in the General forum, better to ask this question TE Trek, TE projects, Themes forums ? Thanks for advising.

- Sometimes I wonder: Is this forum more for getting attention?
=> Well, it up to you. It is like photography: everyone can perceive thing differently.

- Did you ever hear of Internet
=> What did you say, cannot hear you?

Have a nice week-end, peace.
Cheers, Al.

Then a good tips.

Search TE for Vancouver..

You will easely see who lives there by their postings (if any. I haven't done that).

Then adress them by epost.

Not so difficult, not even sarcastic. Just being practical.

Lens and Shutter has been mentioned already. It probably is the best. Kerrisdale cameras has a number of shops throughout the mainland, the main store being in Kerrisdale, I think about 41st and Arbutus. Broadway Camera, on Broadway and about Ash is also OK. Leo's Camera, which is on Granville St. downtown is quite good too and depending upon what you want, might even be the best (lighting, medium format, stuff like that). Just down from Leos is Dunne and Rundle, which is smaller, but has a really friendly staff. There are probably others that I am missing, but it has been a while since I have lived in Vancouver. havea good time in the rainy city. Vancouver is great.
