Hi John,
At first I noticed how sharp it is from front to back, and thought this this must be high ISO shot. Only then I saw the grain. So, not a bad choice in my opinion. Symmetric framing looks good of course, and I like all these golden tones.
I made a workshop. Of course removing grain has some effect on sharpness too.

Thank you, Kari, for your kind words and also for an excellent workshop! That is definitely an improvement. I have never tried that technique of using smart blut, so it's something to keep in mind!

I think the main problem (apart from too high ISO) was the fact that most of the photo was very underexposed and dark and required a lot of brightening in Photoshop - that always causes a lot of noise.
