Hello Karen
In your last critic on one of my picture, you wrote " many of us are at different levels in our photography. Some are beginners others are not. The beginners would like more interaction from the more experienced photographers", ..... so I think you ask for some critics to improve your photographic skills.
This picture is well framed, with the respect of the rule of the third for the horizon and the place of the surfer in the frame with some more space in front of him (I guess it's a man!), taken at the right moment with a great varietey of blue hues. My opinion is that this person is too dark, he is seen as a silhouette and as he is THE subject of the post, he should be more detailed.
I tried to make a WS to show you what I would have done if I were the photographer
Cheers

Hello, first I want to say thank you for the workshop as I can clearly see the difference between the two photographs. I use Lightroom and I do know how to use the contrast slider. But I do not know how to use the magic stick yet. It certainly provided detail for the surfer. So I will check that out next.
A big thank you And have a great day, Karen ![]() |
