Hi Paul
A good photo of the NY skyline but what are all the piles in the foreground - old wharves, old walkway, modern installation?

Thank you Ian,

I first assumed that they were old mooring posts, but I am not sure. They're quite close together.
You can find them in different places in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
