Im a Surveyor , working for Construction company in Africa ,
In Africa u have lot scene to take photo , when i found time than i try,
This really good thread to find out who do what

I'm an IT Support engineer for Ericsson. Basically doing high end support on telecoms IT systems.

I've no major aim to be a professional, because I feel that would ruin the fun I have taking picts. I know most of mine aren't great, but I'm (hopefully) improving, and I still really enjoy getting out with the camera.

I'am a wine-grower in south west of France...i've just started the harvest,my work change with the seasons...sometimes i bring my camera with me(not the D5D)but less and less,i make most of my pictures during the week end,

I hold a PhD degree in molecular virology and genetics and presently work as a postdoctoral researcher on molecular biology and evolution of HIV-1 (human immunodeficiency virus that causes AIDS).

I am a middle and high school teacher in international schools. I have taught English, humanities, drama and music in China, Turkey, Guatemala and currently in Singapore.

... for a multi-national pharmaceuticals co., which has just been taken over by an even larger multi-national pharmaceuticals co. --- so I may soon have a lot of extra time to take photographs. ;-)

I'm a translator (English/Spanish/French mother tongue).
Travelling is my passion and photography is becoming a passion (complementary to the other one!).
