Good Luko 2006-12-13 6:02

You know there's something I liked with some of the past slides from Kodak : while the skin tones turned quite yellowy, the shadows and darker parts shifted to a lovely greyish-blue.

This is what attracted me most in your image : the blue shift... more than the composition which I'd qualify as a bit tame. It lacks too me something a bit more striking in the left hand side. We're pedalling along this road and then... then... the road ends. Give me someone running across the road...

what If? Well, up to you to say... but I guess you'd probably be photographying with Clairedelune instead of Peter Homerhomer...

Peter
PS, Mike has a photo of "someone" running accross the road, I just pray the world will never see it;-)

Interesting. I suppose the person crossing the road is not Clairedelune, right?

How about a workshop to check it out, Mike?

I can confirm. That's not me.

As to a "Clairedelune" instead of a "Homerhomer" to roam the town, well I will not pronounce myself here. But I surely have the advantage of being a woman! ;)

And Mike would maybe speak a bit of french by now (and women often have a crush for English guy speaking in french!)
And I would receive the visit of Mr. King in my gallery!
You see everything we are missing?

:D

I think I respect anonymity to not post the said photo, even if it's one of my favourites from Canada-- about as pure documentary photography as I have achieved here :)

If you want to see it Luko you'll have to fly to Canada and witness the scene for yourself, chances are it'll happen again...

Mike, I am sure you love the photo because of the undeniable beauty of the subject and grace of it;s movement, I would like to share your joy with the rest of the world, hence I gracefully grant you a permission to upload it;-)

Let's share the love and happiness in this festive season.;-)

Good WS, Mike, haha...

That ain't Clairedelune to me...
Who's running faster than an airplane? Forrest Gump? Run, Peter, Run!

Might be the wide angle distorsion, though I'm fascinated with the size of your shoes!!! I now understand why they call the police whenever you approach the park. ;D ...

c'mon Luko, size 22 is not that big is it, and it comes very handy when diving.
And just so you know, they don't call the police on me anymore, now they call animal control.

Anyway, gotta run... run.... run...
