Great Angshu 2008-05-07 0:48

Hello Kristaps
I have to say that the thumbnail does not do this shot any justice. A fine picture, where the title is very apt! The gentle slope, the llamas & most importantly, the herdsman...& thanks to the link to the portrait of the herdsman. Simply first rate!
Best Regards
Angshu

Default To Angshu: thumbnail

hello angshu

thank you for your kind comment, friend. much appreciated. i agree about the thumbnail. but, unless the post itself does not have very bright colors or extreme contrasts, it's difficult to make the thumbnail 'pop out'. and i did not want to put a big shiny frame around the pic to achieve just that (effect). ;))

regards,
kristaps

Big, shiny frame...interesting! No I think that would not have helped. I do agree with the bright colours being a reason, but I think it's more on account of the scale of the herder & the llmas vis-a-vis the grass. One has to actually 'open' the shot to appreciate the beauty....and it's too good a shot to be missed if one happens to 'skim' through the thumbnails. That was my concern, my friend.
Regards
Angshu
