Great Galeota 2005-01-23 2:58

I'm really appreciating your photographs on this theme. I think that this goes far beyond the simple visual and aesthetic impact of a photograph, and actually serves as a reminder to a universal tragedy happening day after day in a general indifference.

There is a good pp work on the darkened sky. perhaps some small overexposed areas on the chimneys and on the bags of the man on the left, but this is a minor flaw. The sense of perspective is well settled. Original compo.

Default To Galeota: Hot spots

Hi Gal.
You are right about some hot spots, although with the bag the original has good details so I must have messed up when doing the BW conversion, thanks for bringing it up. With the chimneys I knew when taking the photo that there could be a problem because they were pure white (did someone forgot to wash the one in the middle lol), so they are either truly white or overexposed, but if it looks like it's overexposed than it becames bothersome.

I appreciate your comment about my theme, it means much more to me than just a positive comment on one photo.

Thanks
Peter
