Hello Ashley & welcome to Trekearth!

Once upon a time in Australia, ham used to be cheap and rabbit too whereas chicken was expensive. Now they are super expensive and chicken is cheap. So I rarely eat ham anymore. I loved Barcelona but I don't recall any memorable cuisine in Spain. Italy was consistently good for eating. Tfs!

Default To ChrisJ: Eating in Barcelona!

Thanks for the welcome Chris! I was actually looking for a site that resembled the 'ol PhotoSIG site that's long closed. Just came across TrekEarth this morning, and since all my work is travel related - this is perfect!

I am a big fan of seafood, and meat and cheese - so Barcelona really hit the spot for me! Though, I do intend to travel to Italy as well, and can't wait for all that deliciousness.

Yes it's interesting to note the change in prices for different proteins (and food in general) throughout the decades. Perhaps one of the contributing factors to these changes is the advent of factory-farm style production?

Thanks for commenting!
