Photographer's Note

ǀUi-ǁAis, also known as Twyfelfontein, is a UNESCO World Heritage site of Stone Age rock-engravings from 2000 to 2500 years ago. ǀUi-ǁAis is the name of the site in the Damara/Nama branch of the Khoi-San language. This family of languages uses a number of different clicks, three of which are represented in this name.

I am going a little postcardy on this shot - but there is little I can do to improve on a stunning piece of artwork, and in the spirit of TE, this is certainly a site that deserves to be more famous - so worth reproducing from that perspective.
