Photographer's Note

We found this little guy crossing the road yesterday. He was bright yellow and making his best speed across the road. So we helped him out and put him in the bushes where he couldn't become roadkill..not before taking some pictures first though ;)
This is the first chameleon i've seen here since i was a kid. It's awesome to know they're still around and haven't been wiped out from the area. They fall prey to cats, monkeys, birds and snakes mainly. Their best form of defence is camouflage and keeping still. They're very sensitive to any environmental change and thus, their numbers, with all the rapid developments shooting up everywhere are dwindling. This was a rare occurrence indeed and i was fortunate to experience one of these beautiful creatures once again. To those of you who are less fortunate..this picture...
