Photographer's Note

A shot taken on a walkabout from the Bamboo Bridge in Kampong Cham. The sun just dipped, so this is probably a little bit of a compromise as I watched the addictive Mekong River peaceful scene and focusing on the lone Cham fishing boat while an evening cloud was coming to darken the sky.

The man in the front was about to cast the nets and his wife was oaring the boat, they are the Muslim Chams within the majority Khmer population of Cambodia. Lives in this area and throughout the Mekong are intricately entwined with the river that provides an identity and life-sustaining resources to millions of people in the country.

Could not resist the temptation and opportunity to spent time with the lens and see the colours change by before it turns dark.....

I wonder if you can see why.....
