Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken on my trip to Oudong temple in Kandal province. I saw several children were playing on the top of the maountain. They were palying happily. This little girl was also part of the play. She was looking around before she started playing. I am not sure what the game was about...but they were about running to get to somewhere to get something...

For the colours alone, this is a very beautiful photo.

There's a smooth blend between your subject and the background, as if the bokehed pattern is a blow-up of the girl shirt.

Good use of the temple's detail to create an interesting an original portrait.

That's a striking portrait with a wonderfully colored bokeh. I like very much the whole: sharpness, framing, attitude of your model. The saturation of the colors is very attractive too.

Lovely portrait! The expression, the warm tones, the attitude, the sharpness. Really well done. The face is a tad bit too centered in my opinion but it's not really a big deal. This picture deserves way more points!

The rusty reds and oranges from the foreground to her clothing to her background create a unity in the shot, and her concerned yet almost curious expression as she peeps around the corner makes for a different kind of portrait.

You have masterfully captured your young subject! The look of trepidation and curiosity on the young girl's face forces the viewer to contemplate why she is cautiously peering around the corner.
