Photographer’s Note
Mother and daughter are taking a chance as they run against the light on a very busy Beijing street. A normal condition here in Beijing. Others wait behind perhaps not wanting to risk it. I have grown used to this "race" in the years living here, the streets are wide, the light timing is short, many make the run - even me. It was a rather cold day perhaps -3(c).
