Mumbai - See you, India

I would rather not say 'goodbye' but 'see you, India'.
I consider this country as one of the most fascinating in the world.

With these three pictures the story of a 14-day trip ends. Only 14 days and only 3 places that I’ve visited. I remember that in the beginning of this series someone was surprised that I had visited only three different places during my journey. Yet I have the feeling that I have seen a lot, experienced a great deal, met a lot of people and that my days were well filled. Also a lot of pictures have been taken and shown here. The quality was not always really good. The same goes for the photos today.
But I wanted to end with some pictures with atmosphere and that was something that was evident in the places I’ve visited.

I just loved the evenings on the square between the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and the
Gateway of India. There were tourists from the west but especially a multitude of Indian visitors, young and old from all over the country, some modern others traditionally dressed. It felt great to wander through the crowd with two major icons of Mumbai on the background.

In the mid-90s I was twice in the north of the country. Now I dream to go a fourth time to India and a second time to the south.

Next time another destination.
I hope you enjoyed this one.
