Photographer's Note

This is a closer view of the Nanda Devi. It was taken at the same place as my previous post.
You can only see the Nanda Devi East, on the left, and the main peak at its right.
The Nanda Devi was climbed for the very first time in 1936 by Odell and Tillman. They came from the Sanctuary, in the north-west, a place forbidden nowdays.
If you want to climb this mountain, you have to go to the base camp near Martoli, in the south of Pashu.
