Photographer's Note

We stayed two nights in Tortuguero National Park. Despite its remote location, reachable only by airplane or boat, it is the third-most visited park in Costa Rica.
Nearest road access is about 1.5 hours from the village of Tortuguero and a few surrounding resorts. Visitors are transported in a sort of boat convoy on a meandering river.
