Photographer's Note

Tourist industry contributes just over 40% of gross domestic product for the whole country, it's basically the only type of industry thriving currently on the island. Near resort areas they build apartment buildings where employees of the resorts live with their families. On average Cubans make about $10 per months, a bartender at the resort, if lucky, can make this in a day, and even they are not suppose to take tips home and have to share it with the resort, it's still appears to be a dream job for them.
