Photographer's Note

Gonaives, in northern Haiti, it has a population of about 300,000 people (2011 census). The city was founded in 1422 by the native Americans, they named it "Gonaibo". The old town with the cathedral, the beachfront on the photo, vodoo centers and Rabotteau slum are the major places to visit. Scanned picture
