Albania is one of the countries that I have wanted to visit for many years. Therefore, I was very pleased when I got the chance this fall. This photo is from the main street in Shkoder, colorful and different. You can see both luxury cars and horses at the same time on the streets. An interesting country with contrasts.

Hej Boa,
Albania really seems an interesting country, and so far I've seen not too many photos of it, showing "life as it is" there. I like this scene, it has a very good perspective. In this situation, perhaps, I would choose the same composition. But it is a pity that you did not wait 5-10 seconds to let this gentleman pass a bit more forward, so that he would not be behind the tree...
Anyway, maybe you did not have the time or chance to wait!

Hej Boa,
To me, this picture is mainly interesting for what we can't see. When I visited Shkoder very briefly five years ago most streets were not paved and the sidewalks were full of potholes. The buildings were grey and ugly and there were rather few cafés and restaurants. It's like a different world today, which you have captured very well.

This street view gives a good example of traditional architecture and shows beautiful elements of decoration of this interesting city. The old man in the foreground add to the atmosphere. Well done!

It's great to see a daily life shot from Albania. The color scheme is very interesting; I guess they must like orange! I like that you caught the man in the foreground, too. I enjoy seeing different cities, and with your photo I can take in some details from Shkoder. :-)

Hi Boa. How the years gallop ahead! 2009 and I am just looking at it now. The city looks colourful and cared for, slowly waking up after decades of torpor under Hoxa. Nice title too and I wonder what things did he witness in his life. Regards. Klaudio.
