Photographer's Note

The Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) is a natural spring bubbling out of the ground in southern Albania inland from the coastal resort of Sarande. It's between the villages of Bistrice/Bistrica and Muzina/Musine. Entry is 50 leke. Taken from the wall of the barrage. The spring 1 km upstream from here is a popular swimming and diving spot but the water is a chilly 10c. Actually, most domestic Albanian tourists were not swimming at all but taking selfies.
