A visit to Antwerp 2009

It is a very beautiful building built in the rococo style from the 18th century. Originally, the building was a sumptuous home that was built for Johan Alexander van Susteren. In 1812 the palace was purchased by Napoleon and shortly afterwards the Dutch king William I became the owner. The building was completely restored in the 19th century and visitors were able to view a large part of the building from the inside. It is easy to see in which luxury the princes used to live. There are even many old furniture to admire. On the ground floor of the palace is now a catering business located, where you can enjoy breakfast.

I hope that you enjoy it
