Morning John,
Super scene of this park in it's winter glory, love the Bg, middle tree it is fantastic how the snow clings to it's branches. Splendid light and also love the colours behind that tree on the buildings, think it might be graffiti.

Today I decided to critique only snowy photos
like this one but I didnt because it was very
difficult I love the snow and the snowy
compositions
lovely traces on the surface of the snow
with lights and shadows play together
many wishes for your 1200 photo
many wishes for more and more new
photos like this one you are
the master in Tegallery with
valuable and artistics shots because
it is easy to upload a photo but if
its quality its bad I cannot understand
the purpose

The village in the distance is pretty and charmingly peeks through the snow covered trees. I like how much space there is in the foreground which makes the image lighter.

Fascinating composition with this wonderful winter landscape, perfect beauty of these large trees completely covered with snow, very good POV with white meadow in foreground and trees and houses between it, the lengthening shadows of late afternoon, they nice graphics.
A sunny day, giving a lovely range of soft color tones.

Sometimes it can be better to have pristine untrodden snow,here however the footprints lead very nicely into a most attractive winter scene.
The distant trees are a fine focal point.

Dag John,
Dit jaar geen witte winter voor ons, en ik begrijp goed dat je de sneeuw mist ! Door de aanhoudende regen, helaas geen mooie foto’s, en we moeten in de computer duiken om iets interessants te posten. Wel, ik zie dat je nog enkele mooie winterplatjes in voorraad hebt. Fijne herinnering aan drie jaar geleden, John (je zou er bijna heimwee van krijgen !). Prachtige opname van dit winterse landschap, erg mooi van kleur en sfeer, waarin het zonnetje mooie lange schaduwen geeft. De witte sneeuw is prima belicht en de scherpte is uitstekend. De met sneeuw bedekte bomen geven een magnifiek zicht. Gefeliciteerd met je 1200e foto op TE. En nu hop, naar de 1300.

It's nicely composed and exposed displaying the reality in true colours of snow winter landscape, excellent depth with interests throughout. The low warm light and shadow break up the white tone enhancing contrast of warmth and cold of the shot. Superb capture, Congrats

Dear John,

This is a veritable winter wonderland, shot in 2010. I read your note, and was saddened about the social conditions. It cannot be a wonderland for the foreigners who have moved here for a better life than in their own countries, but now cannot find jobs. It is like that in the United States also. On cold winter and hot summer mornings I see "illegal aliens" standing at corners looking for day jobs. Meanwhile the politicians disagree about what to do with them, whether to make them return to their own countries, or make them into citizens. But the decisions are not purely humanitarian — the politicians who would like to make them US citizens, want the votes of other Hispanics already in the country. Some politicians even want to give the illegal aliens the right to vote. It is a very complicated problem, especially with in a time of poor economy.

first of all, congrats on reaching #1200, thats quite the milestone!
your note explains how the people living here have a difficult time, but we wouldn't know that from the photo, it looks beautiful.
all of the tree branches are so frozen we can see the heavy ice forming onto them.
and the combination of the white and blue colors really work well together.
a true crisp, cold, clean winter day
love the frosty atmosphere

Hi John,
A beautiful winter scene, I can almost feel the chill coming from my screen as I look at this. That snow looks so tempting to go walking in too, that special crunchy noise of walking in fresh snow. The way the ice has formed around the leafless branches of the trees is very special.

This is a beautiful winter scenery where the blueish shadows have provided you with several nice diagonals that give a kind of dynamism to the otherwise empty large space.
