This second picture has been taken two days ago during a nice day with a lot sun.
We got wonderful color to both sides of the walking path.

Description;
Reesinghe a very nice forest for walker and joggers, I've a lot years walking training done with a lot friends in this forest.
Pleasant for parents and children for an afternoon in the autumn sun to play a game and enjoy of the good air.
In the forest we find a variety of beech, oak and pine forest of coppice with old pines.
Birds that breed in and around the forest include blackbird, great spotted woodpecker and green woodpecker.
Management:
It is owned by the municipality Reesinghe forest Maldegem and managed by the Forest and Nature Agency.

Hello John,
The rays of the sun are spread beautifully between the trees and are very cleverly captured with a perfect management of the light. The many tones of green contrast wonderfully with the rust brown leaves on the ground. This was a very good place to stop for a photo.

Hallo John,
Werkelijk een prachtig gezicht hoe de zonnestralen tussen door de bomen heen schijnen. Ze doen de groene kleuren aan de bomen en de herfsttinten op de grond heel mooi oplichten. Prachtig werk.

I've always noticed your penchant and skill with strong vertical lines, this is a beautiful way to display that using the strong lines of the rays of the sun breaking through the forest. I think only once in my life have I seen the sun breaking like this, really nicely caught.

Een bijzonder mooie bosfoto waarbij de zonnestralen in alle richtingen reiken.
Je hebt ze uitstekend gevat en ze zijn speciaal goed zichtbaar omwille van de vele donkere boomstammen.
Deze stammen zijn heel krachtige lijnen en goed in contrast met de lichte divergerende zonnestralen.
De goudbruine herfstbladeren zorgen voor een mooie voorgrond.

Dag John
Dit is een schitterende foto om een dag vol met hagel en onweer goed te maken. Zo’n fraaie herfstdag goed voor een heerlijke boswandeling zit er voorlopig niet in. Morgen gaat het behalve hagelen en onweren ook nog stormen, maar we houden de moed erin.

Superb back lighting and wonderful use of the tightly clustered trees and branches to act as a natural starburst filter. Good sharpness and nice repetition of patterns and shapes. I like the dark partly silhouetted tree trunks. Tfs!

Hello John,
The light is quite beguiling with the sun's rays piercing the canopy of trees at various angles and producing a dappled effect around the fallen leaves and the roadway. Perfectly exposed, avoiding any hint of over exposure yet capturing the least detail in the shadow areas. Beautiful natural colours and excellent clarity. Very pleasant to view.

Hello John,

Sunlight, captured as rays, makes for a beautiful, enigmatic photograph.
You have controlled the light so well, that the rays are spreading downwards in soft, green beams, from a central 'eye', traversed at intervals by the tree trunks.
It is a truly lovely photograph of Nature.

This is a stunningly beautiful photograph, very well composed and taken from the perfect viewpoint and capturing the true beauty and spirit of autumn and its glorious medley of colours.

I love how the bright early morning sunlight streams through the trees and the soft mist surrounding them and lights up the red and golden fallen leaves on the forest floor. A perfect place to enjoy a walk on such a gorgeous day!

A lovely and pleasing composition with fabulous light and colours, perfect exposure and, as always, stunning details and sharpness.

this is so simple and so brilliant!
I like very much the autumnal mood so well captured here, the ground is full of golden leaves. The light is magnificent with subtle fog between trees enhancing the extraordinary feeling.
It works very romantic.
The sun rays look fantastic with the sun spot not being overexposed or too big: it is just perfect!

This is a very beautiful scene, with the eponymous sunbeams obviously a major feature. I could have wished that you'd crossed the road in order to omit that slice of tarmac at bottom left, which to my mind distracts from the overall sylvan effect; otherwise an excellent woodland landscape.
