Photographer's Note

Antwerp, Belgium

Street Photography..definitely not my forte...but I had given it a hand for the first time, 12 years back.

I had chosen Black & White film to try and capture through my lens, the various actions & emotions of common people on the streets, to the best of my limited abilities.

Somewhere along the embankment along the River Schelde… guy in black leather jacket sitting on a wall looking into the horizon & enjoying his smoke. The blurred (OOF) structure on the right is the spire of the beautiful Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal - Cathedral of our Lady

Scanned from the old Black & White (1994) print. The lack of clouds or textures in the OE sky gives this picture a feel of a cut-out.

No PP done except sharpening & Neat Image to clean visible noise. Resized & framed.

As always, your honest critiques, even the harshest ones would be more than welcome.
