Another shot taken in this beautiful Gare du Nord.
Railway Station located in the middle of Paris, with a stop of subway of Antwerp, of Montmartre and Sacred Heart.
Station conceived by Lejeune and Ohnet, the architects of the Company of North, the preliminary draft will be taken again by Jacques-Ignace Hittorff in 1861.
Brought into service in 1864, the station will be completed one year later.
Its frontage of 180 meters on the street of Dunkirk will be flanked of two wings of 200 meters each one, finished by side houses.

About the TGV(Train à Grande Vitesse) or high-speed train, it is an electric motorized oar ready to circulate at high speed developped by the SNCF and built by the Alstom company.
After launching in 1981 of a first service TGV between Paris and Lyon and some other cities of South-east, network TGV, centered on Paris, extended until connecting from now on many French cities, with the construction of new lines at high speed towards the south, the west, north and today is country. Eager to share the success of the French network, of the close countries like Belgium, Germany or Switzerland connected their network with this one.
The TGV also serves Germany and the Netherlands under the Thalys mark, and the United Kingdom under the Eurostar mark.
The TGV celebrated its first billion travellers transported since the inauguration of the first service in September 1981, on November 28, 2003.
