Project was ordered to architect Chinese-American Leoh Ming Pei and Partners in 1983, that it counted on narrow assistance of Michel Macary and Georges Duval. What if it intended was the construction of a central access to museu.Another of objective is to allow the visitors to pass section Richelieu, the north, for the section Denon, the south, and to thus prevent extensive passages. Project culminated with the spectacular glass pyramid, with great similarities to the carried through one for Friedrich Weinbrenner in the Markplatz de Karsruhe.
