Photographer's Note

---------------

Toulouse is called "pink city” because of the color of local traditional construction material, terra cotta brick.

Capitole Square, which area is 12.000 m², is located in the center of the town, in front of Capitole building (Capitolium), which is City Hall.

The construction of this building lasted two centuries, between XVIIth and XIXth.
Its frontage was built in 10 years, starting in 1750, from Guillaume Cammas plans.

I took this shot with the camera laying on the ground of the square.
