Photographer's Note

We left the Estom mountain hut (1804 m high) at 7.30 to climb to the Araillé pass at 2583 m high, then go down to the Oulettes de Gaube mountain hut (2151 m high) to clim to the Mulets pass (2591 m high) then the Arratille pass at 2528 m high, end up at the Wallon mountain hut at 1850 m high. We arrived at 18.30rn17 km walk and 1280 m altitude difference, a hard day trek!

Hello Claude,
A hard day trek but with time and strength enough to take a bright and sharp photo. I like the man's red coat contrasting with the blue sky and green grass. The patches of snow on the mountain are nice eye-catchers, and so is the moon.

Tu nous coupes le souffle avec ton parcours ... une vue photogénique avec ces contrastes de teintes, la randonneuse est bien placée sur un point fort de l'image, belle lumière et intéressant détail avec la lune qui veille sur les sommets.

Hello Claude, You take pictures usually in the towns, here is something new. It was a really hard trek with 1280 km altitude difference. Congrats! Bravo!. I wouldn't do it anymore :(. Fantastic view of this climber in red against the blue sky.

A lone hiker under the shade of half-moon! he stands out well against a photographic mountain scenery giving more connection to the shot. Its the colour combination makes lots of diff. Well spotted and captured.
