Photographer's Note

From the hills of the Seine valley above the village, there are some beautiful panoramas. Spring colors are nice when all shades are present. I particularly like all those geometric color stripes contrasting between each other. Seduced by the particular luminosity found here, the painter Claude Monet arrived one day in the village and decided to buy a house. He lived here for over 30 years, until 1926. His house and gardens are located at the left of this lonely tree.
