Photographer's Note

This is the Protestant parish church St Vitus (earlier: St. Veit) of the small town Hilchenbach in southern Westphalia in the district Siegen-Wittgenstein. St. Veit was built about 1250 and it was the parish church of Hilchenbach during a couple of centuries. In the 19th century it became more and more dilapidated and it was demolished in 1839.

In 1844 the reconstruction of -now - St. Vitus began and my photo shows this church which is situated above the very picturesque market place of the city. I'll show it tomorrow. The style of the steeples is rather unusual in my region.
In the workshop you can see it from an other angle.

By the way - Is this a Papagolfade ...??? ;-)
