Tsambou beach, Samos Island

Tsambou is a small beach only some 350 meters long, with big pebbles, deep and very clean sea, open to the northern winds which raise high waves when blowing. The beach is situated at a distance of some 15 kilometers north-western to the capital town of Samos and 3 kilometres before arriving to Aghios Constantinos, a bit off the circular road of the northern coast connecting the town of Samos with Karlovasi.

Accommodation facilities are available close to the beach and in the area around and the seafront taverns offer full meals, coffee and refreshments.

Tsambou is a well organized beach with facilities for swimming and sunbathing (sea beds, umbrellas). Just beside it there is another beach, smaller and more secluded.

Access to the beach from the town of Samos is easy by rented or private car and motorbikes.

Παραλία Τσαμπού.

Η μικρή παραλία (350 περίπου μέτρα) Τσαμπού με χοντρό βότσαλο βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 15 περίπου χιλιόμετρα βορειοδυτικά από την πρωτεύουσα, έχει βαθιά και καθαρά νερά και είναι απροστάτευτη από τους βόρειους ανέμους που σηκώνουν μεγάλα κύματα όταν φυσούν. Η παραλία βρίσκεται λίγο έξω από τον περιφερειακό δρόμο της βόρειας ακτής του νησιού που ενώνει την Σάμο και το Καρλόβασι 3 χιλιόμετρα πριν τον Άγιο Κωνσταντίνο.

Η διαμονή κοντά στην περιοχή της παραλίας, αλλά και στην ευρύτερη περιοχή είναι εξασφαλισμένη και ο επισκέπτης μπορεί μετά το μπάνιο του να απολαύσει καφέ, αναψυκτικά, ή το φαγητό του στις παραθαλάσσιες ταβέρνες της.

Η παραλία είναι καλά οργανωμένη και προσφέρεται για μπάνιο σε προσιτή απόσταση από την πρωτεύουσα και ηλιοθεραπεία και ξεκούραση σε ξαπλώστρες και κάτω από ομπρέλες. Αμέσως δίπλα της υπάρχει και μια μικρότερη παραλία λίγο πιο απομονωμένη.

Η πρόσβαση είναι εύκολη από την πρωτεύουσα με νοικιασμένο, ή ιδιωτικό αυτοκίνητο, ή μοτοσικλέτα.

Very dramatic but romantic beach, I like the white sand. The contrast to the blue sea and sky is great. And as a bonus you have that lovely cloud formation to the right. Color saturation is at it's best, combined with high sharpness as usual and a well written note. Well done my friend

The trees and the rocks are framing well Tsambou beach. The curve of the beach is an asset to the composition. The point of view takes our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the photo. The nice blue sky is sending a light which is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

It's interesting to compare our beach photos. They are very different and there is doubt they are more beautiful and charming when they wild and surrounded with rock faces like this one. It's the kind of beaches I like but I haven't the luck to have this kind of beaches in the area where I live.

Kalispera Danos,
The sea is classically framed between the curve of the white beach and the skiff of clouds. The rocks at the end of the beach close the scene nicely like bookends while the foreground tree adds the drama of shadows to the sunny vies.

Geia sou Danos, the wide angle lens has captured this beautiful beach frm headland to headland. Inclusion of the trees makes it more interesting, although I think standing in front pf them, you might not have been able to capture the entire of the beach. So I understand why they're included. An image very impressive very nice too. I like especillay the supreb blu colors in the sky and especially in the sea. Thhe two trees in the FG give a plesant play of shade and too a great depht to the image. An impression of wind well colected too.
