Photographer's Note

There are two reasons why I chose to upload this "fireworks" photo, today. First of all tonight when the clock strikes 12, all around Greece millions of fireworks (in some cases even real dynamites, like it happens in my hometown, Ierapetra, Crete) will explode to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. A very special day for all Greeks and Greek- Orthodox in general. This year is an even more special ocasion because the Catholic and Orthodox Easter are coinciding.

The other reason is that it's the second "anniversary" for me in a few days (3 days ago I had my first TE "birthday"), because this is my 100th greek photo in TE. Some "fireworks" are quiet good for the celebration.

In the photo, you can see once again the Old Fortress of Kerkyra (Corfu). If you want to read something more about, and understand what the title is all about, just take a look at one of my previous posts, HERE
