Vik I Myrdal, South Coast
The church of Vik, on its hill, is a classical object of picture in this little village of the south coast of Iceland. On this long sandy coast, there no fishing port. Vik exists through farms and tourism.
I played with the reflection, with the beautiful black sand resulting from the erosion of the lava made by the glaciers.
Happy to have this beautiful light between two snowfalls. Weather changes very quickly in Iceland, and it's very impressive. In a quarter you can have sun, then have a stormy weather and the sun is back again... You have to be at the right place at the right moment.
