Photographer's Note

Prior to my visit to Venice, I spent a few days on business in a small Italian town on the East coast ,named Fano. This town had some strategic significance to the Romans, therefore it has many ancient buildings and fortress walls as a reminder of those important times.
I stayed in a very old and quaint bed-and-breakfast accommodation while there, and in between my work commitments I had time to walk the lovely large grounds of this establishment, which has connections with the Napoleonic era. In this image I was lucky to find an old Fiat 500 parked in front of the Italian villa, which provided a true Italian "feel" to my photo.
If you ever find yourself in the town of Fano (located 50km from Ancona), I really recommend that you stay at Villa Giulia.
