Photographer's Note

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II was built between 1865 and 1877. It is one of the worlds oldest luxury shopping malls named after the Italian King Victor Emmanuel II. The Galleria is famous for its dimesions, it is formed like a Latin cross, its longer walkway is 196 meters long and the shorter one 105 meters. Both walkways meet at an octagonal central space, over the crossing is a round glass dome (height of 47 m, width of 36 m).
The Galleria is one of Milans most popular attractions, it is constantly crowded with locals and tourists although it is very expensive. It is one of "must see" and one of "must photograph" in Milan.
