Photographer's Note

On April 9th. 1942 a bomb pierced the Dome of Mosta Church a Congregation of three hundred were present when the bomb and debris fell on them at 4.40pm. Miraculously the 500kg bomb failed to explode and it was defused by the bomb disposal unit of Royal Engineers. No one was killed and this was considered as a Miracle. The bomb is kept in the church, anybody can visit to see.
