Photographer's Note

Marsaxlokk is a fishing village in the southern part of Malta. It is a harbour in the South as the name itself suggests: Marsa = port Xlokk = South.
Marsaxlokk is a place of charm and serenity. Tourists visit often this village to admire the colourful boats called 'luzzu' and 'kajjik', the fishermen at shore mending their fishing nets when the sea is rough and the wives of the fishermen knitting nylon string bags for the tourists.
