On the left:
The EYE Film Institute Netherlands is a film archive and museum in Amsterdam that preserves and presents both Dutch and foreign films screened in the Netherlands. The collection includes 37,000 film titles, 60,000 posters, 700,000 photographs and 20,000 books. The earliest materials date from the start of the film industry in the Netherlands in 1895. On the right:
The A'DAM lookout tower may look brand new, but this building was actually opened in 1971. After a multi-million refurbishment, the A'DAM Tower was newly opened at the beginning of 2016 as the first public observation deck in Amsterdam.
The observation deck at the top of the 22-story A'DAM tower offers a magnificent 360-degree view of the city center.

This futuristic scene looks more like Singapore than Amsterdam. The building at left that looks somewhat like a parked white Concorde also bears a vague resemblance to the Oslo Opera House. Good sharpness from a moving tour boat! Tfs!

I have seen the EYE building before, but possibly not from this angle, so this view is quite surprising. The observation deck to the right is new to me, and together these two buildings provide a view that has very little resemblance to the Amsterdam I have known. It's a very interesting photo.

A fresh open wide view with modern buildings across the water, this certainly grabs our attention, enhanced by fresh colour and blue sky. Feel the ripply water helps alot strengthening the whole scene. Excellent shot.

We visited the EYE some time ago, but I'd never seen it from a boat. Interesting angle, also the other buildings play their part here. Thanks for sharing this one & cheerio

This is a fine shot of the EYE. It is interesting to see it behind the wake from your boat! You did amazingly well to keep your camera straight and steady.
I enjoyed learning about the purpose of this building. It sounds like a place well worth a visit! The same goes for the observation tower. (The Post Office Tower, London, was an amazing observation tower, which revolved every 23 minutes. It was opened to the public in 1966 but had to be closed in 1980 because of danger to the public, after a bomb exploded there!)

A great photo of one of the more modern parts of Amsterdam. I like the viewpoint close to the water and the photo is well composed and balanced. I still haven’t visited the lookout. It was such a sunny and pleasant day with well-saturated colours, especially the blue tones.

Ryszard, Amsterdam looks really different seen during a boat tour. The film institute appears on the right where as the observation deck reminds a boat placed on a tower. The landscape from the elevated platform should be magnificent. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.
